What is Alethea? Alethea eConsult is a digital healthcare platform that lets family doctors or primary care providers quickly ask specialists for advice about a patient without sending the patient for a full referral appointment. 

How it works

1. A primary care physician submits a clinical question through the platform (often with notes, labs, or images).

2. A specialist reviews the case remotely.

3. The specialist replies with recommendations, usually within about 24–48 hours.

4. The primary physician can then treat the patient directly or decide whether a full referral is still needed.

What Is the Alethea–Arya Integration?

The Alethea–Arya integration enables clinicians to launch an Alethea eConsult from inside the Arya EMR environment using secure single sign-on (SSO).

Rather than navigating to a separate platform, logging in again, and manually re-entering patient details, providers can initiate an eConsult directly within their established workflow. Relevant patient and provider context is securely passed into Alethea, reducing duplication and minimizing disruption during clinical encounters.

This integration was intentionally scoped to prioritize:
